오늘 오빠와 세컨컵에 갔다가 나오는 음악이 귀에 착 감겨서 가사를 잘 들어보려고 노력했다.
원래 좋은 노래가 있으면 한, 두 소절의 가사를 잘 들어두어 외운 뒤 구글에 쳐서 노래의 정체를 밝혀내는 일을 하곤 한다.

그런데 이 노래는 도저히 가사가 헷갈려서 한 소절도 알 수가 없었다...[좌절]
그래서 R&B이고 목소리가 흑인 같다는 힌트밖에 얻지 못하고 집으로 왔다.

원체 R&B에 빠삭한 사람도 못 되서 참으로 막막했다.

그러나 포기하지 않고 어설프게 구글에 대고 가사를 검색하며 무작정 가지고 있는 흑인 가수의 노래를 틀어놓고 수색작업(...)에 들어갔다. 더 막막했던 것은 일단 집에 오니까 그 멜로디까지 까먹었(...)다는 것이었다. 일단 감미로운 노래를 즐겨 만드는 Ne-Yo를 주르륵 틀어놓았다. 원래 다운 받아놓고 바로바로 듣는 성격이 아니라 파일 이름을 바꾸는 작업을 하며 하나씩 들어보는데 Sexy love 라는 노래에 아까 그 노래와 비슷한 멜로디 패턴이 있는게 아닌가. 그러나 그 노래는 아니었다.
바로 <시~라도 시~라도 시~라~~> 가 카페에서 들은 것인데 sexy love는 <시~라도 시~라도 시~라도라> (...) 뭐 이랬다.

다른 곳 찔러볼 곳도 없고 왠지 찝찝해서 계속 Ne-Yo 노래를 뒤적이는데
심봤다!

찾았을 때의 기쁨이란 ;_;

원래 Because of you라는 노래 때문에 굉장히 호감이었던 Ne-Yo
이번 노래의 제목은 Go on girl 이란 노래였다.

괜히 청승 떨지 않는 솔직한 가사도 마음에 들었다.
게다가 나는 다른 곳에서 듣고 좋아서 찾는 음악을 이유없이 아끼는 편인데 
가사도 모르는 상태에서 우연으로 찾아 기쁜 마음에 이 노래가 굉장히 좋아졌다 ㄲㄲ
